It’s an old vine in a new bottle

Review By: Deepthy Kamal

It’s like an old vine in a new bottle. Sparkling look but oldie touch this is what we say about the movie UPPUKANDAM BROTHERS.

The story is as old as the later. But the only new is the presence of Sreekanth as a new member in Uppukandam family. There is a new villain too. The story here goes between two renowned families in that place. More over their vanity is the source of the cause as in the oldie theme.

The first half of the movie is pretty good and can satisfy the audience. But the second half makes boredom. It’s actually tests the patience to the core. None other than Babu Bntony makes a feast in the movie. It was he who makes a spark to the beholder. Sreekanth too showed his level best in the mollywood screen. Can he survive here a little more, only time can tell! A little bit deconstruction in the second half of the movie can lead to a new phase. But it didn’t. The scenes are just like a crispy wafer.

Choreography and cinematography reached a level head. Background music scores a lot.

Comedy by Suraj and others was a flop. Baiju, vaani viswanath, jagadeesh, raj mohan were so slip slow in their performance.
Watch out this if you have nothing else to do. But if you still have time why watch this one? You can watch the old UPPUKANDAM BROTHERS.
