Kottayam Anand Awarded The Best Theatre In Kerala

Kottayam Ananad has been chosen as the best theatre in Kerala by the Theatre Classification Committee appointed by the Kerala Government. The commitee examined 399 theatres.

Anand secured the highest marks in the grading and is the only cinema hall that got more than 90 marks.

15 theatres in Kerala have been selected for Platinum grade. The theaters that got the platinum grade are Sripadmanabha (Thiruvavananthapuram), Varsha (Anchal), Saniya (Eramalloor), Sree Saraswathi & Sree Kaleeswari (Kaliyikkavila), Padma Screen1 & Padma Screen2 (Eranakuam), EVM (Kochi), Thalam (Vadakkancheri), Anna (Kolancheri), PVS (Thanur), Kavitha (Kannur), Kairali (Mancheri), Aiswarya (Sultan Batheri) and Vismaya (Perinthalmanna). These theatres can use the phrase Platinum Theatre with their name in their advertisments.
