Casanovva Opening Weekend Media Reports

Mohanlal’s most anticipated film Casanovva, promoted as the most expensive film ever made in Malayalam took a gigantic opening. The film was expected to break all the opening week records as the hype was huge.

Though the producers didnt comeup with an official statement or press release there were speculations and media reports about huge amount the film had collected in its opening weekend.

IndiaGlitz reported that the film is expected to fetch 2 Crore in its opening day. They added in their report that the film is a visual treat with great camera work.

Vellinakshatram / Kerala Kaumudi had reported that the film had grossed 3.12 Crore in its opening day from 202 cinemas. In their report they added that the film had created festival atmosphere and the fans of Mohanlal were celebrating the mega film from the actors.

Cinebuzz reported that the film managed to collect 1.6 Crore from the Kerala box office in 4 days. According to the report by CineBuzz the film failed to break the first day record of 1.5 Crore set by Pazassi Raja.
