Not Many Takes For Karmayogi

V K Prakash’s adaptation of William Shakespere’s Hamlet, Karmayogi finally got released this weekend across Kerala. The film was released in 27 cinemas on March 16 opened to empty halls. There were cancellation of shows at places and the film was removed from more than half a dozen theaters during the opening weekend itself.

Karmayogi didn’t go well with the critics as well. The film was panned by most of the critics and they felt Karmayogi wasted opportunity.

Karmayogi is produced by Vachan Shetty and Sajitha Prakash. Indrajith and Nithya Menon playing the lead characters and is supported by Saiju Kurup, Thalaivasal Vijay and Padmini Kolhapure.
