Husbands In Goa Has Nothing New To offer
Review By: Sreejith
Saji Surendren’s Husbands in Goa a sequel to his 2010 hit Happy Husbands is also about husbands who plans to spend time away from their wive’s.
Husbands in Goa is about 3 husbands played by Indrajith, Jayasurya and Asif Ali who flees to Goa to spend some free time without their wive’s. In their journey to Goa, they meet Sunny a cinematographer played by Lal. They have a blast in Goa, but things changes when their wive’s comes for a sudden visit.
When it comes to Krishnan Poojapura’s script, it is always said that the sequences will be a rip off from Balarama. This time he spares Balarama, but the film still have lot many sequence which seems to be illogical to common man. There is nothing much to write about the script, yet it wont bore you.
What saves this illogical-brain less film in the name of comedy is the sincere effort of the lead cast. Jayasurya and Indrajith delivers a fine performace. The heroines Rima Kallingal, Bhama and Ramya Nambeesan have done their part well.
Music and background score by M G Sreekumar is just ordinary except the remake of hit the song “pichaka poo kavukalkkum appuram…”
The camera of Anil Nair is worth mentioning as he was able to capture some good visuals of Goa. The directon of Saji Surendran is just ordinary but is much better than his recent films.
Watch Husbands In Goa if you have time to spare and have nothing much to do. This flick will not make you bore.
