Kerala State Film Awards 2013 Announced

Prithviraj starrer Celluloid, film directed by Kamal based on the life of J C Daniel, has won the Kerala state award for best film for the year 2012. Prithviraj was selected as the best actor for his roles in Celluloid and Ayalum Nhanum Thammil and Reema Kallingal was chosen as the best actress for her performance in Nidra and 22 Female Kottayam.

Ozhimuri  directed by Madhupal was selected as the second best feature film. Manoj K Jayan won the award for second best actor and Sajitha Madathil won the second best actress award.

Salim Kumar won the best comedy actor award for his performance in Ayalum Njanum Thammil.
